A registry is a lot like an employment agency, where each of our home care specialists is an independent contractor.

A registry takes the worry out of selecting a competent, qualified care specialist. Clients have a greater selection of pre-screened care givers to choose from that have been hand selected to meet the specific needs of the client.

Complimentary Care Assessment
At Village Caregivers, each client engagement includes a comprehensive care assessment that becomes your “Caring Notebook”. Our licensed practitioner comes to your loved ones’ home to assess four areas critical to their independence:
- Physical abilities
- Cognitive skills and social life
- Current health
- Environmental and safety issues
This assessment allows us to provide a benchmark of current abilities, describe the care needs and provides the details necessary to match your loved one with the appropriate care specialist. By specifically identifying your loved ones deficiencies and abilities care service recommendations are tailored to each client’s individual situation. This means that engaging Village Caregivers’ home care specialist can actually be a very reasonable financial investment allowing your loved ones to remain happily in their own home for as long as possible.

Household Management
Providing a comfortable environment and ensuring your loved ones safety.
Includes: light housekeeping, laundry and changing linens, general home safety, running errands, grocery shopping, menu planning and meal preparation.
Personal care
Good hygiene and a little TLC can make everyone feel better.
Our home care specialists are there to assist with regular grooming needs such as toileting, dressing and bathing. We also ensure your loved ones are eating properly and can begin their day by transferring them from their bedroom to the living area and back again at night.

Regular support and interaction may make all the difference. Our specialists provide motivation and monitoring such as engaging in hobbies and conversation, medication reminders, community involvement and accompanying your loved one on errands and appointments.
